I have been an animal lover my whole life, being able to make an animal smile with something as simple as a walk, cuddles, or making friends at the local dog park brings joy to me every day. I am a mother of four but when it comes to my two fur babies, they get the same love and attention as my kids do. I recently left Corporate America and realized my favorite part of the day was walking my pups. So, I made the leap! I understand the everyday stresses as an adult, having children and trying to get a lot done in a short time.

I’m a retired military veteran with 21 years of service, now proudly managing our dog walking team. As a lifelong pet owner, I know how important it is to trust the people who care for your pets. With a background built on responsibility, discipline, and service, I bring the same dedication to caring for your pets as I did serving my country. Safety, reliability, and genuine love for animals are at the core of everything I do. Whether it’s a quick potty break, a long walk, or special attention for senior dogs, I treat every pet like family.

Why I like dog walking:
Giving a dog a walk will give the dog physical and mental joy. It's also fun to go explore and soak up the great weather in SD which will make both you & your fur baby happy.

I've merged those last two hobbies into an interest in helping others with their pet care. I would be glad to get your pup(s) outside for walks and give them lots of attention, while we both get some exercise to boot - win win! I also LOVE cats (I have two of my own) and am happy to make home visits giving them top-notch care as well. My schedule is flexible and I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Hi! I’m Jewel, a 26-year-old Portland native with a lifelong love for dogs. I played Division 1 soccer at SMU in Texas, where I started walking dogs and petsitting through Rover — and I’ve been hooked ever since! After college, I played professional soccer in Europe and Rugby for the USA National Team, but no matter where life took me, I always found time to care for pups.
These days, I’m a CrossFit coach and personal trainer, and in my free time, nothing brings me more joy than spending time with dogs, including my three: Kayla, a pitbull mix rescue from Mexico; Milo, my sweet special-needs min pin mix; and Cooper, my paralyzed and very oversized corgi mix who zooms around in his wheelchair.
